What To Expect From A Studio Portrait Session

Are you curious about what a studio portrait session is like? You’re not alone. A lot clients have the same question. Let me break it down for you…

First, I want you to relax. I know your schedule is full and life is pulling you in all directions. I completely understand, which is why I create portrait sessions that end up being the fun part of your to do list.

Here’s a step-by-step list of how to book a session and what to expect. Can’t wait to see you in the studio!

Step 1. Schedule A Consultation.

Your phone or zoom consultation is complimentary. It gives us a chance to get to know each other a little as well as discuss the specific needs of your session. I also offer guidance on what to wear in order to look your best and can schedule a hair and makeup artist for your session.

Step 2. Book Your Session.

We schedule a date for your session, secure it with a paid session fee and signed photo agreement.

Step 3. Enjoy The Experience.

First, I love what I do and I bring that love of photography to each session. Whether you like being photographed or not, I want you to know this will be different. I truly love portraiture and want you to look and feel your best in your photos. Not only do I want you to love your images from your session, I also want you to enjoy the experience, which is why I work to create an amazing experience. We hang out, listen to music, talk, and have a good time all while I photograph you.

Step 4. View  & Select Your Images.

After your session, I will select and edit a curated gallery of your images, approximately 24 photos, to share with you. Together, we will choose the final images for your prints, wall art, and albums. Once you’ve made your selections and your order has been placed, you can expect to receive your order within 2 to 4 weeks.

Step 5. Pick Up Or Receive Your Order In The Mail.

Print orders can be picked up in person at the studio or you can choose to have your order shipped directly to you. Digital files will be available through a downloadable link that I send via email. That’s it. Simple, Easy, Fun.
